Community Care

Casey CommunityCare Logo2B Orange2

Community Care is committed to helping meet specific needs in the City of Casey. We see ourselves as part of the solution to the problems facing families and individuals in our local community. We work in concert with other local Churches and Community Organisations to offer targeted assistance where needed.

Community Care Services

Community Care Liaison

Need help but not sure how to get it?  Our Community Care Liaison is here to help.  Give us a call between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday on (03) 8790 2917.

Kid’s Hope

1 Child in need + 1 trained mentor + for 1 Hour per Week for 1 Year = A World of Difference.

Through Kid’s Hope, we are helping to raise the next generation by partnering with one local primary school.

Chaplaincy

Providing an accredited Tertiary Chaplain to the local university community.  Chaplains care for students and staff, celebrating the victories and providing support when life is challenging.

Community Care Events

Dad’s Date Nights - NASA Astronaut Training (theme)

A theme based event designed to emphasize the significant impact a committed male role model can have on the life outcomes of children.

We do this through local primary schools as research shows that when a committed Dad or male mentor participates in school activities and events, a child’s developmental outcomes and life outcomes improve in every area.

Saturday Night Life

Enjoy fellowship by the fire pits at our monthly outreach to men on the margin in our community.  With great food, music and fellowship, SNL builds connections of trust through which other services are made available on the night.

Together we create community where hope can be found.

Tour of Hope

Supporting Brazilian soccer stars to bring messages of hope to kids and youth through our Night to Shine dinner and  soccer clinics for the local community, disadvantaged and refugee kids.

Community Connect Sundays

Opening our church to the community by providing food, entertainment, activities and friendship. These events are designed to engage people of all ages.

Carols by Twilight

Creating an opportunity for the community to truly experience Christmas. On Christmas Eve at Max Pawsey Reserve, thousands gather for Carols by Twilight.  There are rides, great performances, prayer and a community spirit.

Community Care Groups

Early Birds - Men’s Breaky Catch Up

50+

Providing a welcoming environment for our 50+ friends to get together, learn new things and explore positive aging.
